1961 the first product was laboratory muffle furnace MP-2M. During the first years was produced 700 units of furnace with 30 people staff.
1963 started production of electric hand drayer ER-2. 2000 units was produced per september- december.
1964 produced first ovens SNOL Š-003 ir Š-005, melting furnace TEP-1, tube furnace TK-30. Started export of furnace.
1965 production of 7 types products. 500 employees work in the company. During the years was produced 24000 units of furnace & ovens, 6000 units of hand drayers.
1969 work 637 employees. Products was exported to 40 countries.
1971 started serial production of melting and tube furnaces.
1983 reconstruction of company.
1985 produced 29000 units of furnace ir 11500 electric hand drayers „Vėjelis“.
1993 the company was privatized and called AB „Utenos elektrotechnika“.
1999 company was certified according to ISO 9001:1994 quality management standard
2004 AB Uteos elektrotechnika and AB Umega was amalgamated to AB Umega.
